Welcome to Townend Farm. These Terms & Conditions are intended to ensure that all guests enjoy a safe, peaceful, and relaxing stay whilst protecting the interests of all visitors, neighbouring residents and the owners.
By making a booking, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
* A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your pitch.
* The remaining balance will automatically become due 7 days before your arrival.
* Bookings not paid in full by this date may be cancelled and any deposit forfeited.
* Deposits are non-refundable unless Townend Farm is unable to provide your booked pitch.
The standard pitch fee includes:
* One motorhome or touring caravan.
* Two adult guests.
* One passenger vehicle.
* One awning (where space permits).
* One hardstanding pitch.
* Individual electric hook-up (EHU).
* Drinking water supply.
Prices may vary according to season, local events and demand.
Arrival :
Pitches available from 12pm
Departure:
All pitches must be vacated no later than 11:00 am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed.
A late departure on request is an additional charge subject to availability.
Up to four well-behaved dogs are welcome per pitch.
Owners must ensure that:
* Dogs remain under control at all times.
* Dogs are exercised only within the designated exercise area.
* Dogs are not allowed to disturb other guests.
* Dog waste is collected immediately and disposed of appropriately.
* Dogs must not be left unattended if likely to cause nuisance.
Each pitch is provided with:
* Individual electric hook-up.
* Drinking water.
* Grey water discharge connection as directed by site management.
Electricity is intended for normal domestic leisure use only.

Townend Farm reserves the right to charge for excessive electricity consumption or misuse.
The only approved disposal point for toilet waste is the Elsan disposal point, located to the rear of the garage beside the white farmhouse.
Waste must not be emptied elsewhere.
To assist guests, a waste cassette trolley is provided on each pitch.
Please help us keep the site clean.
* General household waste should be placed in the Green wheelie bin.
* Recyclable waste should be placed in the Blue wheelie bin. Glass, plastic, tins, cardboard in Blue Bin .
* Large items, commercial waste, broken camping equipment, and any waste that cannot reasonably be accommodated within the site bins must be removed by guests at their own expense.
Fly tipping is strictly prohibited.
To ensure everyone’s enjoyment:
* No ball games.
* No live fire barbecues, disposable BBQ, fire pits, or open fires.
* Please keep noise to a minimum, particularly between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.
* Respect fellow guests, neighbouring residents, livestock, and wildlife.
The speed limit throughout the site is walking pace.
Guests remain responsible for their own safety and that of members of
Vehicles, awnings, and equipment are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
Townend Farm accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, or damage except where required by law.
Townend Farm is a private property.
Management reserves the right to:
* Refuse any booking.
* Refuse entry.
* Decline admission upon arrival.
* Require guests to leave immediately without refund where behaviour is considered threatening, abusive, disruptive, unlawful, or likely to cause nuisance or distress to others.
This includes (but is not limited to):
* Aggressive or abusive behaviour.
* Excessive noise.
* Criminal or anti-social behaviour.
* Damage to property.
* Failure to follow site rules.
* Unauthorised additional occupants or vehicles.
* Illegal activities.
Only persons included within the booking are permitted to stay on the site.
Visitors are only permitted with the prior permission of site management.
Unauthorised vehicles, caravans, motorhomes or persons entering or attempting to occupy the site without permission will be treated as trespassers.
Townend Farm reserves the right to refuse entry, require immediate removal from the property and, where appropriate, contact the Police or other enforcement authorities.
The site must not be used for any form of unauthorised encampment, gathering, commercial activity or long-term occupation.
Guests are responsible for any loss, damage or excessive cleaning costs caused by themselves, members of their party, visitors, or pets.
The lead booker accepts responsibility for all persons included within the booking.
Townend Farm shall not be liable for cancellation or interruption arising from events outside its reasonable control including severe weather, flooding, utility failure, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Personal information supplied during booking will only be used for managing your reservation and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
Stays are for recreational and holiday purposes only. Townend Farm is not a residential site. No person may occupy a pitch as their principal residence, and no stay may exceed 28 consecutive days (or whatever limit your planning consent requires) without the prior written agreement of the owners.
